New NHS PCOS weight loss group in Rotherham

A week ago, we launched our very first study that is looking to improve the level of knowledge, symptoms, service provision, impact and management of PCOS.

Some of the areas of the study are looking into how many PCOS women have access to a PCOS specific clinic, whether they need support with the condition and if so, whether they feel they currently receive this.

An article on the Rotherham Reshape group

It will certainly be interesting to see the results, although I have a suspicion on what may come out!

My personal goal for when we get these results, is for more PCOS specific programmes and clinics to become available across the country, and for awareness and understanding of the condition to improve.  That’s why, I was so excited to get a call from Sarah Groom, a specialist dietitian in Rotherham who has set up a special PCOS weight management clinic.
Have a look at the course details below – what do you think?

Would you like a similar course in your area?

If you live in the area and are interested in attending the class, the contact details for the clinic are below.  And, if you don’t but wish you had one in your area, why not contact your local hospital and enquire if they would start one up?  You could always take them in one of our PCOS Resource Packs to break the ice :)

More information on the course are below:
