Research request: Does body image impact on quality of life in those with PCOS?

The below blog post has been written by the research team, and details of how to participate in the research can be found at the bottom of this post. Verity have sighted the ethics approval granted for the recruitment of this study.

Are you a woman with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) living in the UK?

Please consider taking part in a study aiming to better understand women’s experiences with PCOS, and how feelings about the body may impact wellbeing.

If you decide to take part, you will be invited to complete 2 surveys – one now, and another in three months’ time. These should take approximately 30 minutes to complete.

Before you decide whether you would like to take part in the study, it is important for you to understand why we are doing this project and what taking part would involve. By clicking on this link https://bit.ly/PCOStudy , you will be shown a participant information sheet containing all the information regarding this study. Please take some time to carefully read the information and think whether you would like to take part.

If you have any questions about the study, please do get in touch through the contact details provided in the information sheet.

Thank you for your interest!
