Introduction
Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) affects many aspects of women’s health and wellbeing, yet experiences can vary widely. This study aims to better understand how women make sense of their condition, their experiences with care, and how these relate to emotional wellbeing. By taking part, you can help improve understanding and support for women living with PCOS.
About the Study
This research is being conducted as part of an MSc dissertation at King’s College London (Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience). The study explores how women with PCOS understand their condition, their experiences of healthcare, and how they respond to symptoms. It also examines how these factors may relate to feelings of illness-related distress. Ethical approval has been granted for this study.
